So sweet!!!!

“Rob had never worked with an elephant before, but he was totally mesmerized from the moment he met Tai.  The first thing he’d do everyday he arrived on set was visit her.  It was his favorite experience on the movie.  Their affection for each other was obvious to everyone, and Rob seemed happy and anxious in every scene they filmed.  His attachment to Tai became crystal clear on the elephants’ last day of shooting.  Rob didn’t seem the type of guy who talks a lot.  But after Tai’s scene had wrapped and everyone else was getting ready to leave, Rob came over to my husband Gary and told him, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m sorry I’m not going to be able to visit with her every day.  I’m going to miss her so much.’  Gary told him he was welcome to come visit Tai any time he wanted at our ranch—and Rob was so overcome with emotion, he put his head down and walked away.” ~Kari Johnson (Tai’s owner/trainer speaking about the relationship between Rob and Tai on set of WFE) as told to Alex Burton from STAR magazine 5-2-11

My two favorite shots of Rob from WFE NY premiere on Sunday! In the first one he’s signing my poster!!!! <3

I’m still too exhausted to do much else with my pics, but soon I’ll make a better album of the crazyness that the last 3 days of Water For Elephants were! Lots rain, lots of waiting and lots of dissappointment, but honestly a smile from Rob made it all better and I’m thankful for that :)

Lee MacDougall Bitter End 02.25.11

A few months back I tweeted Lee MacDougall (@LeeMacDougall) to ask him when he’d make it to NYC. I was shocked when he actually tweeted me back to let me in on the exciting news that he’d be here in February! So, of course I got my tickets first chance I could.

The night finally came and I was lucky enough to be a part of the first US audience to experience Lee live. He was cool and collected, as if he plays NYC every night, no biggie right? Lee really connected to his audience, had us singing the choruses and clapping along. Ok, most of the clapping was from the table of loud, drunk girls front and center….

Lee looked and sounded amazing and therefore his songs were accompanied by the sound of my camera shutter all night, see pics above..

Thank you Lee for a great night of music and to Phil for bringing him over to the states and chatting with us after the show. Check him out!!!

Can’t wait for April 22nd, back at the Bitter End for Lee MacDougall NYC Part II!
